The trust provides four fully equipped ambulances, which are operational around the clock with trained and certified paramedics on board. The service has been accredited with lowering morbidity and mortality in the region.

Abdul Razzaq Welfare Trust is a nonprofit organization working for the social uplift of the under privileged by providing quality health care, educational opportunities and nurtures talent through sports promotion. Its initiatives have enabled the people of Jhelum and other surrounding regions an opportunity to access social services irrespective of their economic status, caste, creed or race.

    Sakina Bibi

    Sakina Bibi belonging to Jajja village of Gujar khan had been in deteriorating health. Being a widow she lived with one of her sons, who was a daily wager earning a meager 400 rupees a day. Her breathlessness and chest pain resulted in the family going to a public sector hospital for a checkup. The Doctors told the family that the heart operation would cost 250,000 rupees. The family, who already had underwent medical impoverishment due to the multiple tests and costs incurred on food and travel had no means to pay for the lifesaving operation.     Tariq Malik, an expat, shifted back to Jhelum to Pakistan to take care of her ailing wife(Kausar Sultana) who had an ailing lung condition. Due to her medical condition, doctors advised that she can’t be shifted to a tertiary care facility(Islamabad) without a ventilator.
